1989 David Peterson Liberal Convention Button

Description

A button produced for the 1989 Ontario Liberal party convention featuring leader and Premier David Peterson.  The date notes the expectation that the election would be in 1991.  It was actually held in 1990 and the Liberals lost power to Bob Rae’s NDP.
