Description
This is a button used by Brian Mulroney’s by-election campaign in the riding of Central Nova in 1983. It was held soon after his winning the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. His victory would be his first entry into the House of Commons. A year later, he would become Prime Minister.
