1983 Anti Joe Clark PC Party Convention Button

Description

A button produced by members of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada that supported holding a leadership convention instead of carrying on with leader Joe Clark.  This was from the party’s 1983 Winnipeg convention.  Clark received 2/3 support, but, still called a leadership convention, which he lost later that same year in Ottawa.
